michbou: Le faire jouer des matchs tous les jours

Michbou... you don't know how to train a young cdf player, you know that very well... there's no point in leading him down the wrong paths.

Aguado: Michbou… on sait pas entraîner un jeune du cdf tu le sais tres bien… ca ne sert a rien de l’aiguiller sur de fausses pistes.

It's not a red herring, it's just the basics, if you don't get it played the player will be doubly rubbish the day you take it out 😊 think before you speak 😊

The advice is good: to get him out quickly, you have to get him playing matches. After that, there's nothing more you can do at the training centre to optimise the players.

He doesn't get tired in training centres.

Aguado: Il ne se fatigue pas dans les centres de formation.

I had promoted him from the academy oo

I almost never let recently promoted players play full 90 min (at least until their endurance is 15 or more), so I usually sub them after 65, 70, 75 (when their fitness level dropped around 50%) and play them every two days, but that's just me.

I think it's really tempting to let young players play as much as possible to gain a lot of experience (and especially if they are learning new position), but I say to myself that it could be counterproductive as it increases chances of injury (even though injuries can be "completely random").
