As you've probably seen, Virtuafoot is organising a tournament this summer that's open to everyone and gives you the chance to win quite a few things.
I'm opening this post to discuss this tournament.

Personally, I think it's a good tournament, but I wonder if it's only going to benefit the big teams, so there's nothing for the smaller teams to do.

I think it is wrong and indifferent to reward only the winner.
What about the finalists?
What about a modest team that reaches the final stage?
Doesn't it deserve a significant award?

It's the return of the bickering between the big favoured clubs and the small clubs?

A tournament that doesn't offer much other than what we're looking for when we play this game: matches and a bit of competitiveness.

The prize money is obsolete, we're not talking about a nice player but an ordinary amount of money with a line in the record books.

It should be fairer

The big teams weren't built in a day. Behind them you have club management that often spans several years.
So of course some of the big teams shouldn't miss out on this, it's simply part of their management. Maybe in time you too will be considered a "big team" thanks to your hard work and management, and I can imagine that you'll be happy to take part in this kind of tournament 😉

It's always the same thing anyway and apart from creating tournaments by level you won't be able to do much about it. And even then you've got N1s with 90ng teams, so let's just be happy that this tournament has been created and enjoy it.

For the smaller teams, there's the Legends Cup.

We know that it's bound to benefit a big team, but as Lolo said, it didn't take the guys 2 days to build this and they deserve all the credit. With hard work and discipline, it's possible for everyone to get there.
Personally, I'd find a small tournament with the same teams for everyone, a bit like the Euro, interesting, as the tactical side would be favoured.

Personally, I think it's good, but if the groups are homogeneous, it's even better to put all the big teams on one side and the small ones on the other 🤣

What I remember is that there's something new, good or bad, it's TOP. And it's a good thing this little tournament is so richly endowed. I'll be watching from afar with my dream team :)

Personally, I would have preferred a small improvement (rather than a dislike button) at least than a cut with +500 members.

Why was the tournament postponed to 14/08 before we updated the club numbers? Was the start date 14/07 a display bug or was it also changed?

There are 50 clubs or more capable of finishing in the last four of the ldc. If you want to play the tournament with a draw, you might have to give up the game lol.

512 was a good no if you want to avoid filling up with inactives.

It seems difficult, given that 616 people have already signed up. In the spirit of things, it's still much better if everyone who wants to can sign up, and then fill up to the nearest gauge with a few inactives. Maybe 1024 will be enough, we'll see.

Beach soccer tournaments 4 players + 1 goalkeeper, 5 changes, two 30-minute halves... If you're going to play the same matches over 5 competitions, there's no point. And 1024 clubs, please divide that by 4. We're not going to play 50 matches...
