Hi there, community, moderators, and the great Stroumph Emeric (that was my nickname when I was the station commander at the Asnières fire station, a station that’s part of the Paris Fire Brigade – needless to say, it’s not at all derogatory or mocking; that’s just not my style). I’ll be 61 in two months’ time; I’ve been playing Vf since 2009, and I took a break for less than a year between 2017 and 2018. Obviously, I’m not very active on forums, Discord, and all that sort of thing… Just a thought: I’ve been in the Spanish Elite division for quite some time now; sometimes I’m playing in the Champions League, other times it’s the UEFA Cup… Tonight I’ve just qualified in second place from my Champions League group… We can all agree it’s no great feat, and given that I know in advance I’ll be facing CSKA MIGDAR in the next round – barring a major upset – I’m not quite sure why I fought so hard to get out of the group stage, especially since… : there’s no bonus for qualifying… I just think it’s not right…
