💡 ALLIANCE FORUM: GIVE CHAIRPERSONS GENUINE MODERATION RIGHTS

Hello everyone,

I’d like to suggest a small improvement to the internal alliance forum, which I think would be logical, practical and relatively important for alliance leaders.

At present, when a thread is opened by mistake, a duplicate is created, or when certain posts become inappropriate or unnecessarily clutter up the internal forum, the alliance president cannot really step in to restore order themselves.

And yet… it is, after all, their alliance’s forum. 😉

➡️ My proposal would therefore be simple:

Give the chairman of an alliance the ability to:

• delete a thread created in error;
• delete an unwanted or inappropriate post;
• clear out duplicates and old, unnecessary topics;
• simply moderate their own internal forum.

This would obviously not involve granting moderation powers on Virtuafoot, but only on the private alliance forum for which they are responsible.

Why do I think this would be useful?

Because at present, for this sort of minor issue, it may be necessary to contact the game’s administration.

However, I think the administrators certainly have far more important matters to deal with than deleting a thread opened by mistake or a few messages on an alliance’s private forum.

This would therefore allow for:

✅ greater autonomy for alliances;
✅ a tidier and better-organised internal forum;
✅ a swift response in the event of a problematic post;
✅ and fewer unnecessary requests for the administration.

The chairperson is already responsible for managing their alliance, its members and its organisation.

It would therefore seem quite natural to me that they should also be able to moderate the internal forum associated with their alliance.

I’d be interested to hear what other alliance presidents and members think about this.

If you find this improvement useful, please do support the proposal. 👍

The more of us who consider this feature to be useful, the more it will show that this isn’t simply an isolated need, but a genuine convenience for managing alliances.
