17h agoHello,
At present, the stats are rebalanced when there are too many players (with an attack rating contribution) on one side (alongside a tactic to attack down the wings or attack down one flank, or in other scenarios).
When this happens, the MDM rebalances by shifting a huge amount of stats into the centre (with a loss of stats?).
At the moment, this is rather difficult to understand, and sometimes all it takes is swapping two players – typically having a DFG take the wing and a standard DFD – to restore balance. That said, it’s rather unclear.
Ideally, there should be a clear rule explained by the MDM that could be included in the manual.
But this still poses a problem in my view: with just one or two parameters’ difference, you go from a decent stat (considered balanced) to something ‘ridiculous’.
I’d thought of another idea, based on overall stats: limiting one side’s contribution to a certain percentage of the attack line. (For example, the MDM could decide that 60 per cent of the total attack score is the maximum one side could take. Any stats above that would then be lost.
The 60 per cent figure is just an example and is open to discussion. But I think this would be a more consistent system, as well as providing a degree of continuity: at the moment, we end up with situations that are sometimes very frustrating, where the slightest change in instructions or positioning completely throws the team off balance.
My idea has the advantage of also limiting imbalance on one side, by always penalising the team that creates the imbalance (via an overall drop in stats), whilst maintaining a degree of continuity between a distribution that is right on the limit and one that crosses it. Especially as there aren’t 15,000 options for staying just below the limit without exceeding it.

15h agoI think this is intentional on the part of the MDJ to prevent abuse and ensure that one side doesn’t end up with 300 attack points
At the moment, there’s already a way to deal very, very high damage

15h agoCed90: Je pense que c’est voulu par le MDJ pour éviter les abus et finir à 300 d’attaque d’un côté
Actuellement il y a déjà moyen d’envoyer très très fort
Yes, I have no doubt about that, and the idea is to keep it that way, but in a more flexible and clear manner
