Hi commu!

While playing against an opponent I realised that I had already played against him last season, and the season before that, etc... So I was interested to know the context, the results, the teams lined up, etc...

So I was wondering if the idea of a small "direct confrontation" tab wouldn't be useful in this context? It would allow everyone to consult the history of a match as it approaches and I think it could be a nice little addition for any manager looking for stats (even partial ones) to analyse, or just to warm up when you realise that you haven't managed to score a single goal against your opponent!

So what do you think?

XOXO, Gossip Girl

I don't see the point, apart from overloading the DB.

Teams change regularly, so we wouldn't learn much.

I think it's an interesting idea. Maybe not to the extent of having access to the old compo, but the result and the competition would be great.

Yeah, having a list of recent results against the opponent in question would be nice.

That's a nice idea. It would allow me to check that I have negative H2H against absolutely everyone.

The basis of a management game, stacking BDDs.
I used to play with a mate between 2008 and 2023, and I'd have liked to know who'd have been strawing whom, even though I know the result! Lol

It's amazing!
I logged on to propose the same idea and I see that you've only proposed it 2 days ago!

I'm really excited about this idea, in basic data mode. Just the date, the score, the type of match and that's it.

It can spice things up when you see that your next opponent, who you don't know from Adam or Eve, knocked you out 8 years ago in the Champions League and 12 years ago in the VFFA, for example. That adds a little something

And also, for the teams in our league, having an idea of who's dominating the head-to-head matches could make us potentially change our style of play if we see that we're never going to come up against that one.

I'm also in favour of reminding myself that I've been beaten up by ultras, skyz and so on. In case I've forgotten the slaps, reminders are good.

I'm joking, I'm also in favour of something simple, it can't hurt.

Delighted with the support!

Don't hesitate to give the project a thumbs-up 👍🏻
