Let's start at the beginning: some will see this as an opportunistic message, and in fact it is. But in the end, take this proposal for improvement for what it is and not for me, because basically I'd like to raise an objective issue: the lack of recognition of the VFFA Cup.
Far be it from me to turn it into another LDC, but the VFFA Cup is still the premier club competition and will remain so. Good luck to Woodz and Ultras in a few days' time.
There's no need to make a big deal of it, I propose to recognise this cup in several ways:

Qualification of the winner for the following season's LDC (by arbitration of the last qualifier of the current LDC -> to be 3rd in a Division 1 and qualified for the LDC is in itself almost a windfall effect for the qualifiers).

Qualification of the finalist for the next edition of the VFFA, again by refereeing the 6th or even 7th-placed team in Division 1 -> curious to see that a relegated team from Division 1 can play in a European Cup.

Recognition from sponsors at the start of the season: proposal to pay half the bonus for quarter-finalists.
I'd like to see it implemented at the end of this competition, but as long as it's put in place, it's beyond me personally.
I hope to have the favourable opinion of several players, but above all of the boss.
