I had the unpleasant surprise of keeping the players selected for more than double the time because I had scheduled a match for my club. As a result, I penalised the teams in my agreement by keeping their players longer than planned.
Wouldn't it be possible to REALLY limit the selection time to the 8 hours planned, whatever happens? It must be possible.

In my case, the friendly match was just over 9 hours later and they still hadn't been allocated.
To be on the safe side, I think you're better off going for around 9.30 or 10.
