Hello everyone.

I'd like to suggest a fairly simple improvement, or rather to re-establish something that I think is obvious, but I look forward to reading any counter-arguments.

In a recent audio interview, Aymeric45 announced that he no longer wanted to award the "prize list" to a club in a title-winning agreement that had not played an IE. The basic idea is understandable. It even seems logical to me.

However, my proposal is to take into account the exceptional nature of the coach.

A coach can very well have a squad that is incompatible with the IE competition (youngsters in training, VFIFA nations competition, etc.) and still be in charge of the agreement selection.

These selectors undeniably contribute their stone to the edifice that corresponds to the title of an Entente. 6 IS matches can generate 36 points in the standings. That's more than a manager playing 10 IE games.

He is therefore an important player in the Entente title competition. Therefore, if he doesn't play any IE, but contributes IS points, it might be fair to give him the line in the ranking? He's clearly part of the campaign.

If the problem is technical, because the coding automatically assigns the line only if the IE match played is greater than zero, it might be a good idea, in this case, to authorise the administrators to add the line. This would represent a small charge, as there aren't 10 winners. And potentially not all selectors with 0 IE.

Finally, there would still be the case of selectors who changed during the season.

I think the best thing to do is to say that if a manager has earned the slightest point, we should give him a line. He will have been part of the adventure. And if the problem is a technical one, you can make up for it with the help of an admin.

I apologise in advance if this is a minor problem for many people, but we had the same problem with our coach in season 137. And this measure was imposed without, I think, taking into account the IS points.

What do you think about this? (If possible, I'd be grateful for any constructive opinions, rather than snarky comments, thank you in advance).

The request seems logical to me, as the coach has a role to play in the process.

It's an interesting improvement project, Magpie,
I'd be totally in favour of this idea because the position of coach should be rewarded for its true worth by rewarding the manager with this line on the list of honours, especially as the position of coach is complicated and thankless.
It remains to be seen whether or not it's complicated in terms of coding, but you might suggest adding it by hand 👍

Interesting indeed bizarre that it was magpie who had the idea 😁😁😁
The coach is a very special job indeed, not to say a difficult one
So the prize list would be logical, but there's a catch: if the coach doesn't make any is this season (yes, it happens), he shouldn't have the prize list

A coach who doesn't make an IS of the season has little chance of seeing his team win the title and therefore be able to claim a prize. After that, if it happens, why not, but this is clearly a case that can happen every 24 years 😉

That's for sure, but it happens
