45 days agoVF played a trick on me with my central defender Lungu. He's 22 years old and was due to complete his progression phase last Friday at the end of the season. Except that he was injured on November 30 and was therefore unable to train for a week. This was all the more unfortunate as he had a progression coefficient of 22.52. I thought I'd get some experience points in compensation, but I didn't get any. As a result, I've had a negative impact on his NG of around 2 or 3 points. This leads me to two questions:
- Is there a better way of smoothing out a young player's progression curve? It's a bit absurd to have a progression coefficient that goes from 9 to 22 and then to 0 at each change of season?
- When a player is injured during his maximum progression phase, can't we carry over the lost days to his progression calendar?

45 days agoIf we carry over the lost days, we might as well remove the injuries, because injuries to a young player only have one impact, on progress

45 days agoI have a player who had a coef of 48 and he picked up a 15-day injury just at the end of the season. Bad luck, his whole training is ruined. It makes me angry because he was 10 points ahead of his NG and he just finished at his expected NG. Bad luck, but that's the way the game works. I don't see any reason to change that. On the contrary, it makes the game even spicier 😉

I have two players in training who took 12 days 😌

The problem isn't so much the injuries, but I think an overhaul of the infirmary with a bit more recovery each day would be cool in real life, each improvement adds 1 hour, 2 hours wouldn't be bad, it would greatly limit the worries without necessarily altering the game.

45 days agoI posted a topic on the Vforum 3-4 months ago to 'denounce' these end-of-season injuries, or rather to note them and share them to see if others were in the same situation as me.
It's a recurring problem for me, even every season.
I'm relatively injury-free throughout the season, but as soon as you get into the final 15 days, I have several injuries all the time to players who are in the final rush of their training.
Last season I still had 2 injured players in the last few days, one of whom is still in the infirmary and who I have to keep so that I can give him his xGs before the sale. But the same goes for these two players, who missed the last collective training sessions and therefore have a less attractive NG than expected.
Yes, it's the game and it's bad luck, but the timing is terrible ^^

43 days agoThe only way you can limit the damage a little is to postpone your group training sessions
