6 month agoHi everyone. I have a particular problem with the promotion of young people at my centre, and I suppose you do too.
The problem is the limitation on promotions because I often find myself with several youngsters of the same age but a limited number of places for promotion and this hampers the good progress of others of the same age who don't have the special supervision of first team players. The second and more serious consequence is that we often find ourselves with youngsters with great potential but in the end with poor overall grades.
My proposal is to remove the restriction on promotion and instead set a minimum age for promotion, for example 18 or 20, so that we can bring in several youngsters of the same age at the same time and give them the same chances of progressing to the first team. In short, it should be up to the manager to decide which youngsters to promote, on the sole condition that they meet the minimum promotion age.

6 month agoHi, there,
This limitation is a necessary mechanism, otherwise there would be far too many players in the game, which would completely disrupt the transfer market. It would also be "too easy" to manage your squad. This limit may have changed in the past, but I doubt that it will ever be completely removed unless we completely change the training mechanism.

6 month agoNot much more to say. If you think about it just a little bit, it would be a real disaster for the game. So, yes, it's frustrating sometimes to see young people not going out, to make choices, but that's part of management after all ^^

6 month ago2 or 3 per season is enough, I had made a suggestion to be able to promote a young prodigy over 15 years old or 16 if 100% but not retained

6 month agoI've read your opinions carefully and I also agree with them, but I think that we can allow managers to decide which young players to promote, while limiting the age and the number of promotions per season, of course, and ensuring that we don't end up with young players of the same age exceeding the number set for promotion

6 month agoHi, there,
Personally, I agree... we need to be able to promote 11 youngsters per season... just to have a complete team to train!
On the other hand, for 25 seasons, you can't take any youngsters out of the CDF!
Food for thought

6 month agoBrutus: Salut,
Perso, je suis d'accord... faudrait pouvoir promouvoir 11 jeunes par saison... histoire d'avoir une team complète à former !
Par contre, pendant 25 saisons, on ne peut plus sortir de jeunes du CDF !
A méditer ;)
edit : J'y étais un peu fort sur les 25 saisons... 10 à 12 c'est + mieux !
That's harsh bruh 😆

6 month agoNot wrong!
But if there's a gap between 2 promotions, it's intentional!
If some people want to promote more young people, that's fine... but if you do it before the date of the next promo, it pushes back the next promo by one season and so on!
But I assure you, it will never happen like that!

6 month agoOh guys, your brains are smoking too much. 2 or 3 per season we've never seen 10 Zaire emery come out of the cdf at the same time or 10 beckham for the English
My proposal to bring out a young prodigy (gifted) was not a bad one, provided several factors were met, such as 82 to 84 mini potential at 15 to 16 years old, 100% finished training, for example
But to do more than 3 players would be madness

6 month agoI'd say we could release our 2-3 players of the season on the same day, sacrificing a point of potential... a bit like learning the ropes... you can quickly get what you want but with a quid pro quo
