6 month agoHello everyone,
First of all, I'd like to point out that I'm going to use the example of the calendars of certain players in an agreement. I'm just going to use it to argue and explain the problem. I've got nothing against them, quite the opposite, their "organiser/president" does a great job to keep his agreement alive!
Following a blocked unofficial cup, I opened a post
#forum?topic=166623
One of the explanations for the blocked cup is that their club has launched a 'friendly championship' (I don't know the exact term ^^'). And indeed, when you look at their calendar, they're very busy over 3 weeks (and not 5 days), full of friendly matches between players from the same club.
For example:
#club?uid=662576&matchs (friendlies scheduled until 30/10)
#club?uid=662972&matchs (friendlies scheduled until 10/11)
#club?uid=662728&matchs (friendlies scheduled until 02/11)
Since the idea is not to remove a very user-friendly option that could pose problems for the smooth running of the cups, the idea would be to :
-Either schedule these matches every 2 days (mechanically limiting the number of matches played in the friendly championship to 28, is this a problem for the organisers of the agreements?)
-Or make it impossible to enter both an unofficial cup and this friendly championship (in the same way that you can't enter 2 unofficial cups) -> Problems for official cups
-Either take up the second point, and couple it with an automatic change of date, if the club in question goes far in an official cup.
If that can save our dear admins some extra work, while "simplifying the calendars" of cup players.
Have your say :)

6 month agoHello, issue already raised but not answered.
I had put forward the idea of blocking the dates of the various rounds of the official cups so that they are not extended because of unofficial friendly cups.
If the club is eliminated from an official cup, then at that point its calendar (dates on which it should have played its official cup matches) is freed up and leaves room for any unofficial cups, friendlies, agreement matches, etc.
In my opinion, priority should be given to ensuring that the official cups run smoothly, and clubs should be given the option of not taking part in the official cups if they so wish.
At the moment, in this game, cup matches are played when there's room ^^'
