18/04/2025Hi everyone, I've been wondering for a number of seasons: when are we going to see the end of players with crazy stats?
I'm asking it even more now because I've lost 2 games in a row, mainly because of this total inconsistency.
What coherence is there in having a DF who has 99 in scoring... and nothing elsewhere?
What is the coherence/relevance of this pseudo-cheat player being able to 'annihilate' a striker who has an NG of 99... with three or even 4 stats harmoniously developed????
At the time, when these players first appeared... I considered this to be "using a flaw in the game"... that it was hijacking a technical limitation of the game for the purpose of "manipulating the MDM"...
And many years later, I regret that this bug still exists... and that most of the big teams are starting to use it.

18/04/2025Play a direct game and his 99-mark dfc will turn into a dfc with no stat and no impact on your attack

18/04/2025Just for your information, and without passing judgement on the content, this is neither a bug nor a flaw, because Aymeric wanted it that way.

18/04/2025Yes, I know... but there's absolutely no logic or coherence to it!

18/04/2025Or you simply need to have variety in your squad to be able to play against all styles of play. That's part of the game's charm.

18/04/2025Exactly.
Instead of complaining about facing players who are formatted like this or like that, train players who are also formatted like that to generate your opponents and you'll realise that it's not that simple and that it takes a lot of sacrifice to get there.

20/04/2025There are no shenanigans as long as everyone is free to do the same, and it's not always an advantage if the manager opposite knows how to manage (I'm talking, of course, about an equivalent number of staff)

20/04/2025Anything that is not prohibited by the rules is permitted. Everyone is free to shape their players as they wish. It would be a bit monotonous to always see the same types of characteristics conveyed in the game.
Now, where there could be some change would be linked to their low NG.

20/04/2025The limits of your reasoning become apparent when you realise that many of the characteristics presented in the player profiles should "logically" be useful to any footballer.
After all, what footballer can afford to have 1 in passing, technique or speed?

20/04/2025In fact, as you say you're new to the game, you may be thinking that the game should be a strict reflection of reality.
But the example you've given (...., which you mischaracterise by saying that it's a flaw because it was created by the game's creator) is just one of 10, 20 or 30 examples of the discrepancies between the game and reality.
I won't go back over the perfect example given below by Blagoje on the fact that a 'normal' striker should have, for example, 80 in attack, 40 in technique and 40 in speed, but 1 in passing or 1 in power, and that a midfielder is optimised with 1 in speed and therefore unable to put one foot in front of the other to get out of the centre circle.
You're free to think that would be in line with reality.
As for the dozens of other discrepancies with reality, I can give you a few examples:
- i play direct football with 5 defenders and 5 defensive midfielders but I have 400 attacking stats!
- throughout his career, my goalkeeper has never been injured and has never picked up a single card
- i can buy 20 new players today and sell them all tomorrow to buy another 20 and do this 10, 20 or 30 times a season
- i organise a friendly match against a very poor team, but I still get 50,000 spectators!
...probably 10 times more than in reality - i pay one of my best players €1,000 a week J. Reis
1 week = 1/8 of a season, i.e. about 1 month. In reality, he would be paid 2 or 300 times more - i organise a physical preparation course at the start of the season, which costs me €2m. I don't know what the players eat or where they sleep, but in reality it will cost 100 times less.
- i organise a little 'walk in the woods' to recharge my players' batteries
#events?new it costs me €500,000! In reality, even if I transport my players by helicopter, it will cost me 500 times less.
etc,....
So a word of advice: play without asking too many questions about the game's settings and take them as they are, as they are and accept them without seeing flaws where there are none.
