Hello to the community,
After 15/16 years on VF through 3 accounts created successively between 2009 and 2018, I've decided to call it a day.
I now forget to set up my teams, I sigh when I have to follow a match (sometimes with 1 chance at stake), I'm fed up with doing right-left-centre and I don't have time for VF any more.
I've seen some very nice versions of the game over the years, but this latest version, with NG99s that come and go, a VF Store that's killed game-play, an incomprehensible MoM, season rankings that no longer mean anything.....bref, I'm completely fed up and over the months I've given up on it.
Nevertheless, I won't forget the great encounters I've had through this game.
I'm stopping now, but I'll be logging on from time to time so I don't lose my account....You never know in 15 years' time?^^

It's always a bit of a shock to see an old favourite come to an end. But if the game becomes a constraint, maybe it's for the best ....

J'oublie maintenant de mettre mes équipes en place, je soupire quand il faut suivre un match (avec parfois 1 occasion à la clef), j'en ai marre de faire du droite-gauche-centre et je n'ai plus le temps pour VF.
J'ai vu des versions du jeu très sympathique au fil des années, mais cette dernière mouture avec des NG99

I don't enjoy it any more, even when I play on my own with my agreement
I see all my friends leaving the game one after the other, in any case we spoke a few times it has always been a pleasure, good continuation in irl and as they say never say never for a return

A good guy, you've done some great things on VF, a bunch of titles including the biggest individual.

I understand. When I stopped following my matches and training sessions in 2012 and 2014, I knew it was time to take a break.
But for me, it's still a unique game. Phone apps with their spate of catastrophic pay-to-win games and the profusion of indie games on Steam have put VF in a niche. But there's no better niche. It's not a football game. MDM would work the same way if you lined up 11 Pokémon with special attacks. It's a 2D management game with a living community that's unique. And the game is sorely lacking in credible media coverage to help this community grow again (in addition to the reluctance, in 2025, of newcomers to sign up to a 2D community game) and restore its interest!

Misha: Je comprends. Quand ça m'est arrivé en 2012 et 2014 de ne plus suivre mes matchs et mes entrainements, j'avais compris qu'il était temps de faire une pause.
Mais pour moi, ça reste un jeu unique. Les applications pour téléphone avec la giclée de pay-to-win catastrophiques qu'on trouve dessus et la profusion de jeux indépendants sur Steam a rangé VF dans une niche. If a lot of managers who stop playing end up coming back, one day or another, it's because they can't find the equivalent elsewhere, despite the plethora of other management games.
Those who stop playing for good are the ones who don't want to play this kind of game any more, it's been a part of their lives and they're really moving on... The others are bound to come back one day out of boredom or the blues.

Drosko, what can you say about the person you are? We played quite a few seasons together at H. I only remember the good things, like your victory in the LDC when you were at the H, for example. I wish you all the best and this will be goodbye because sooner or later you'll be back on this game 😜

One of the managers I appreciate the most on this game ..thank you for the exchanges and the seasons we've spent together...You're a champion and a lot of good spirit..There have been some interesting new features.. especially the legends trophy. facing all the experienced former clubs in the game is a nice challenge you can go and get..the motivation will come back I'm sure 🤝💪
