Is the TV channel really profitable?
No, because I've already spent a lot of money to buy matches (only to end up with a 0-0 scoreline, which isn't cool for my viewers, so score more goals, guys), but I'm having trouble finding a way to make it profitable - the sponsors are low at the moment, just a few hundred thousand euros, and in the end I have to use half of that to boost my viewer numbers.
I've even taken away the rights to my matches and bought them back for free, but even then I'm struggling to make a profit.
So if you could help me and tell me if it's worth it and if it changes a lot of things, because I have to admit that I'm a bit overwhelmed and I don't know if my investments are really good or if on the contrary I'm getting screwed (sorry for the term) but you're the only ones who can shed some light on this and I'd like to thank you from the bottom of my heart.

You need to have a long-term vision for the TV channel
Pay attention to the price you pay for TV rights, that's what's going to make the difference, and keep buying your TV rights

I stayed with a level 5 chain for a long time because this infrastructure costs more than it earns.
Now that I'm no longer buying players, I'm gradually building it up, but it's more out of idleness than any real interest.

At the moment, at level 7, I'm taking on two sponsors for €1.2 million a week but I'm spending between €200 and €500k to recover my audience and/or increase it, so I'm making a profit of a million max. whereas I've spent around €50 million on construction so far.
So for the last 18 years, I've been making a large profit, but for a club that needs to structure itself, I don't think that's a priority.

Starting from scratch, I don't personally intend to set up the TV channel.
I have no financial interest in this infra, which I feel needs to be completely overhauled.

Pour t’aider dans ta réflexion, ma chaîne me permet de dégager entre 9 et 11m de bénéfices par saison
Elle va te coûter de l’argent pour la monter mais une fois au max tu vas donc en gagner
Il faut avoir une vision sur le long terme pour la chaîne télé
Fais attention à tes prix d’achat des droits télé, c’est ça qui va faire la différence et continu à acheter tes droits télé
