The Oscars ceremony has come to an end, and you were the big winner of this 2024 ceremony.
You were very much appreciated by the public and above all by the Jury, who, thanks to your remarkable work with VF and also your level of VF, awarded you two Oscars.

Of course, I accept it with honour and I thank the VF community for this recognition.

Yes, it's an honour even if it's only a game. It's recognition for all the work we've done over the last few years. But I'm convinced that many others deserved it just as much, if not more than I did.
What difference did it make that the public and especially the Jury chose you and not one of the other three nominees?
For the Best Team Oscar, even though the competition was tough, I think the fact that I won the last VFIFA World Cup played a big part in the final result. What's more, my team is 100% Norwegian, with a large majority of players from my CDF that I trained myself, so that must have weighed heavily in the balance.
For the Golden Oscar, it was clearly my status as admin that played a part. I think that those who voted for me wanted to reward my long-standing commitment to the game. That's the only explanation I have, and I'd like to thank them for it.
I'd like to finish by congratulating you on relaunching and organising this Oscars ceremony. It brings a bit of life to the forum. Of course, there may be things to improve for the next edition of the Oscars, in particular reducing the (too) heavy weight I think of the agreements in the final result.
