So the only solution for these selectors is to look at each match to see which club each player comes from, individually, if they want to be sure of playing in accordance with the rules. In practice, this borders on the unmanageable.

I would therefore like a 'selection' line with an amount of 0 to appear at each match for each player if the amount of the bonus is 0. This was the case before. This would make it much easier for every coach and every president (and every administrator who so wishes) to check that the team was complying with the rules for a given match.

An excellent idea. I even think that it should be possible to limit the number of players to 5 agreements in the add player tab. There is already a ban in place for two players from the same club, so why not add a formula in the database if the number of players exceeds 5 to block access to another player from the same agreement. (Adding sister agreements, of course). I think that would control abuse much better, without an admin having to take action.

I agree with you about the initial set-up. Except that once the squad has been put together, 3 transfers and you're out of line, even though you haven't touched anything. It's the same thing with two players from the same club: you can't add 2 players from the same club. On the other hand, with one player selected, I can buy 3 others who are already in the federation, and at the next match the coach, in all good faith, will take 4 players ... So, ideally, you need both: a limit when you draw up the list AND a check afterwards.

40 - 11 = 29 extra players is just a way of giving a small bonus to friends and getting the same friends' players to look good.
