For former players, who have been playing for ten years or so, what makes you nostalgic, what brings back memories?

The days when we won titles with CosaNostra, which are roughly equivalent to the first few nice lines on my list of honours, we had a team of 'old hands' and we could quickly become very competitive, yeah, ten years ago, phew, that was a long time ago.

An MDM without playing styles and players capable of surpassing the others in terms of NG if the training was efficient!

• the decreasing returns in training characteristics (going from 1 to 2 cost 1 XP, going from 50 to 51 cost 51 XP etc.)
• the absence of NG (you had to guess it yourself)
• acceptable transfer fees (which made the transfer market exciting)

But how did you know he had a minimum pot?

Guessing is not the word. But with only the points allocated to the various characteristics and the team's total score in a match (1000, 1100...) as references, you had to 'calculate' the NG yourself by analysing the matches (which player contributed the most and why).

What's more, with the diminishing returns from training, setting a carac at 99 was rarely the right choice. And since playing time was far more important than training, stamina was a way of increasing TJ and therefore XP. You at least had to do a bit of maths (MAX function) to get by.

I suppose it was too clever a system for the mobile app launched in 2012. That's why I gave it up for the first time (2014) But I'm still nostalgic about it.

It's the community at the time that I miss the most.

There were guys with 99 in 3/4 categories, the tough ones but also those with 99 in a single category. Several periods.
