there are two ways of taking part in the Vffa Challenge:

• Be a finalist in a league cup.
• Being ranked in the top 6 of Division 1 without qualifying for the LDC. In general, the top three teams in Division 1 qualify for the LDC, so teams ranked between 4th and 6th qualify for the VFFA Challenge. Sometimes, only the top one or two teams in Division 1 qualify for the LDC, so teams ranked between 3rd and 6th qualify for the VFFA Challenge. In short, if you're between 4th and 6th place, you're guaranteed a place in the VFFA Challenge.
