I was aware of the medical examination mechanism for a new player purchased, in order to avoid stuffing him with stored training, but does this also apply to players returning from selection (selection by agreement here)? My goalkeeper was unable to participate in the last training session (I had 3 in stock).

This is a fairly recent bug. A post has been opened about this in the bug section.

Being coach for my first term and having done my first IS today, when all the players returned to their respective clubs my player (not selected) did not do his daily training because of an imaginary "medical visit".
So if being a coach hinders the proper functioning of the players' progression, why is it interesting to continue to be a coach if it slows us down in the training of our players?
For the damage caused I ask for 0.25xp added to these XP already in stock.

You have just acquired your player (Banchero) so it is normal that he does not participate in the training sessions you had in stock.
This rule has been in effect for several seasons.
Nothing to do with your position as coach.
So no compensation is to be considered in your case.
