I’d like to put forward an idea which, in my view, could bring about a real change to the Entente system: the possibility of building and developing infrastructure owned by the Ententes.
🏟️ 1. Building a stadium for each Alliance
Each Alliance could have its own stadium, which it could build, upgrade and expand using the funds available in its coffers.
This stadium could host IS (Inter-Selection) matches. The revenue generated from ticket sales would go directly into the Alliance’s coffers.
The stadium’s capacity, its level of improvement and attendance figures could all influence the revenue generated.
💰 2. Making effective use of the alliances’ funds
At present, the money is used solely to fund the clubs, and I think it would be worthwhile to place greater emphasis on the management of these funds.
Under this system, chairmen and treasurers would have to manage expenditure more carefully rather than giving money away without counting the cost (I’m not saying we should give just for the sake of giving without expecting a return).
The money would therefore no longer be used solely for loans, but would play a genuinely important role within the Entente.
🏗️ 3. Possibility of adding further facilities
In the longer term, other facilities could be considered, such as a training centre that would provide a bonus to loaned players.
And other facilities, each with their own impact and significance.
🤝 Conclusion
The aim of this proposal is simple: to give the Entente greater significance.
The stadium, in particular, could be an interesting first step, as IS matches could be played there and the money would go directly into the Alliance’s coffers. This would generate revenue that could be directly reinvested in the Alliance’s development.
I think this feature would add more depth to the management of the Agreements.
I find it tedious to have nothing else to do when you’re president (apart from constantly looking for new members).
What do you think?
