Today sees the start of the new season and the 15th edition of the Federations League.
The rules for this year's competition remain the same as for the previous edition.
There will therefore be 16 qualified federations at the end of the 1st phase.

The deadline for the 4 first-phase matches is Sunday 24 May.
The list of 16 qualifiers will therefore be published on Monday 25 May (a supplementary list of 4 federations ranked 17 to 20 will also be published, and the 4 federations on it will be on the waiting list if a federation ranked 1 to 16 does not wish to enter the final phase).

Any federation that has played or scheduled more than 4 matches on 24 May will not be able to be included in the list of qualifiers,...... but neither will any federation that has played fewer than 4 matches but has scheduled a match to be played after 24 May, as this scheduling prevents the manual scheduling of matches for the second phase. There will be no derogation on this point.

Clearly, if you wish to take part in the 2nd phase of the competition, do not start any matches after 24 May and wait patiently for the manual scheduling, otherwise you will not be able to appear on the list of qualified Federations.

I would remind you that the Federation module still contains a few residual bugs and that unfortunately we have no choice but to accept them and sometimes suffer the consequences in terms of the rules.

Finally, I would like to remind you that the financial prizes for the competition are reserved for the actual participants in the second phase, according to a scale that is unchanged from the edition that has just ended, i.e. :
3M to all qualifiers present in the final table + 1M for each victory in the second phase + the rewards for those who reach the podium, i.e.: 12 M to the winner, 5 M to the runner-up and 3 M to the winner of the final for 3rd place).

A further clarification.
There are currently situations where the same manager is president of one federation and coach of another, or even where the same manager is president of two different federations.
This is obviously incompatible with participation in the competition.
It also seems to me that it is forbidden by the game itself. So if this situation is possible, it's probably due to a bug.
The managers concerned are invited to rectify the situation and until they do so, their federations' results will not be taken into account.

I'm the new president of a federation and I didn't know about this? Can you redirect me to the federation regulations so that I can read them? Thanks in advance.

[A further clarification.
There are currently situations where the same manager is president of one federation and coach of another, or even where the same manager is president of two different federations.
This is obviously incompatible with participation in the competition
.

The game's programming does not allow a single club to manage more than one federation, as it will only ever have access to the last federation for which it applied.
To remain consistent, the participation of a federation that began under the presidency of one manager and continued under that of another would have to be invalidated.

[It also seems to me that this is forbidden by the game itself. So if this situation is possible it's probably due to a bug.
myforsans :
It's not a bug as such but rather an inconsistency in the rules for running for the presidency of a federation.

[The managers concerned are invited to regularise the situation and until this is done the results of their federations will not be taken into account
.

The managers cannot regularise their situation and the administrators do not have the tools to touch the federations (modification of the roles of president/selector, suppression or modification of candidatures, etc.).
To avoid confusion and stumbling blocks, managers interested in federations should not apply to several federations with overlapping mandates.

[In conclusion, the criteria set out above would not be sufficient to invalidate a federation's participation without it being an arbitrary decision that would call into question its inclusion in the list of winners and the bonuses awarded to date..
