Nigeria is CAF, not UEFA ...
And by the way, when there isn't enough African teams, they have competed historically with Asian teams , through the Afro-Asian Cup.

VFIFA is a long term experience. Take your time to build your national team.
There is many Nigerian players, you can use the "detailed search" module to find them on transfer list and on the auctions.
Youth academy is a very good way too, because players are cheaper. (And you are more proud to build a team this way. It's a good way to get the sponsor "homemade team" too, IMHO.)

Try to recruit, don't exclude free players too, if you are on a low budget. (16 players at least to make substitutions, anticipate suspension and injuries)
When you begin the game, it's better to keep money for your facilities than to waste it on players.

If you have the time, use the detection mode in your youth academy. This way you can fill up your academy with 16 youngsters in one time (and it's cheaper) , just be sure to have enough space at the end of the season by firing up your "free" juniors.

Yes, I do that...

I know we're a bit late, but yesterday in a frenzy of MP's, I contacted those who had already taken part in the VFIFA ... But not only ...
So it was a phase of discovering the VFIFA and hesitating ...
Even if I think it will be a no for this season, I'd like us to give it another 24 hours.

One last thing, I know we've always been very welcoming in Asia (Amerasian Cup, Afro-Asian Cup and Pacific Cup), so I'd prefer us to have separate Continental Cups.
Not that I'm reluctant to mix, but having experienced it in the past, I find that it's less fun to get together and you lose the flavour of the World Cup effect.
Note: since I'm a fan of a game that sticks to reality, the only one that finds favour with me is the Afro-Asian Cup.

Otherwise, with 6 teams, we can go back to the championship format for the Copa America.

Even if it's not the right time to stay in front of the screens (for me, because the weather's too nice), I'm willing to volunteer to organise it and take some of the organisational work off your hands

5 groups of 3 for the Euro. The top 5 + the 3 best runners-up would qualify, followed by the quarter-finals.

3 groups of 3 for the Asian Cup. The top 3 + the best runner-up qualify, followed by the semi-finals.

1 group of 3 and 1 group of 4 for the Copa America. The top two in each group qualify, followed by the semi-finals.

You can use this as a starting point for the Asian Cup post if you like.
Tomorrow at the end of the morning I'll do the Euro and Copa America posts.
