I've been following the game for a while now (10 years this year), and I have to admit that I don't understand any of the games any more. I've never paid much attention to the details of how the MDM works, but this season in particular I don't understand a thing.

When the tactical instructions and the statistics are the same, I've been teed off in all my league games this year, and even in a good proportion of the friendlies where my team is superior.

I'm aware that my team is slightly below the average for my league, but even so, I have an average team strength of 87, compared with around 90 against most of my rivals. But I'm present at all my matches, adapting tactics, making 5 changes, etc., but that doesn't make up for the difference.

I've only scored one goal in the whole league (despite taking a lot of risks offensively), 0 wins and 2 draws, so it can't just be bad luck.

By way of comparison, against the same opponents last season, I finished 4th with 17 points (confirmed by the corrected league table) and I recruited a lot of players in all sectors to strengthen my team, and I didn't feature at all in the matches.

Is there a change I've missed this season? Because player grades, match statistics, tactical points and match attendance are all taken into account on my side, and I've suffered defeat after defeat.

(The only thing I've noticed (and which makes no sense) during friendlies is that fielding players in the MDG and MDD positions allows you to tactically demolish an opponent in midfield, even if you're 5 against 3).
