I'm opening this post to talk about the event, ask questions and more.

I'll start with a question: Clubs, are we going to play with the squad that is posted in each nation?

I think that's right. The qualifiers will be with your squad though.

Some nations, like Senegal, Algeria and others, don't have a squad. How are things going with them?

As with all tournaments of this type, you do the qualifiers (a knockout cup) with your squad.

Then you play (normally) with the players who will be selected for the World Cup.

It would have been interesting to have the same team for everyone for the qualifiers.

So who am I going to choose now?

Comme pour chaque tournois de ce type, tu fais les qualifications (une coupe à élimination directe) avec ton effectif.

Ensuite, tu joues (normalement) avec les effectifs qui seront sélectionnés au mondial.

Yes, the qualification phase with the same number of players would mean that the same managers would always be at the top of the vf rankings. It's a shame for those who wanted to learn about competitions other than the league and cup.

It doesn't say that it will be the same nations as in the World Cup, but we assume that that will be the case.

And even there the selections will not be equal.

Eh oui, la phase de qualification avec son effectif reviendrait à voir toujours les mêmes managers en haut du classement vf , c'est dommage pour ceux qui voulaient s'initier à d'autres compétitions que son championnat et sa coupe.

Il n'est pas écrit que ce sont les mêmes nations qu'en coupe du monde mais on suppose que ça sera le cas.

Et même là encore les sélections ne seront pas égales entre eux, comme dit hazard14. C'est encore dommage

It makes sense for the World Cup, otherwise you might as well not have it at all and have a cup with everyone called 'France'.

On the other hand, for the qualifiers, it's not stupid, everyone should play with the country chosen to be on an equal footing :)

I have a question about team strength.
I'm using Turkey as an example but I think that many (if not all) nations are concerned: The two starting DFCs are 22 years old NG 85 and 24 years old NG 83.
However, when you click on them, the player profiles indicate 27 years old NG 81 and 29 years old NG 77, which is a lot less sexy...

So, question: will we get the players shown or players at the level of the existing profiles?

Yep, that's pretty clever, but how do you schedule a match between the same team and 2 different managers?

It's still an exceptional competition... plus VF, I think the format is great!

Ca reste une compétition exceptionnelle... un plus de VF, je trouve le format très bien !

I imagine that it should be possible to create "fictitious" teams and give access, as with the federations, to all the clubs registered in the team's cup ^^.

It's going to require a lot of clubs to be created and then abolished, but basically it's a better idea to put everyone on an equal footing.

I wouldn't know how to answer that ^^.
But imagine if it's possible... you've got 100 managers who want to do it for France (100 is the minimum)... how can you manage that in a knockout cup? (with 50 matches on the same day for 1 and only 1 team).

Yes, in essence, it's nice... you have to think of your neighbour, everyone's in the same boat!

But the form is a mess... and as I said before... it's an exceptional competition, so let's keep it that way.

Mais imagine si c'est possible... tu as 100 managers qui voudront le faire pour la France (100 c'est un minimum)... comment tu peux gérer ça sur une coupe à élimination directe ? (avec 50 matchs sur une même journée pour 1 seule et unique team)

There's a mode every day at the same note on fifa, might as well transpose it to VF ah ah ah :P
