Hello, I’ve just signed a player and I don’t understand his impact?

With a passing rating of 95, I’m not seeing any suggested impact for ‘short passes’, but I’m being offered ‘speed’ at +61, and when I select ‘counter-attack’, it shows -30 for speed.

As this isn’t the first time I’ve come across this mystery, can anyone explain it to me?

The bonus it gives you will be in the ‘Short Passes’ category; a MOL Centre like yours should have around 60 in passing stats as a centre, with the rest coming from the bonus if you play PC.

Why does the icon show +64 for speed, when in the speed-specific tactics it’s -32?

As this is a MOL pass, it therefore needs the stats provided by the game to remove the penalty

That’s the number of points you’ll need to add to ensure it achieves an optimal NG.
