However, is the spider web still useful? In my opinion, no. Removing it would allow us to return to a vertical display of stats. I find that the two-column layout makes the stats less intuitive to read.

I was just about to post something on this very topic! I agree with you about the player stats being displayed in two columns. It’s far less intuitive than before. I thought the old version was already very good. As for the new way of displaying NG, pot, age and so on, I’m not too keen on it personally. Although I’d vote for a return to a single-column layout for the stats on the player profile, which is the most important thing for me.
As for the spider web, it doesn’t really bother me that much, but it takes up more space than before. It’ll make some people happy who prefer to read the data visually like that.

I really like the recent graphical updates, but the two-column layout isn’t very intuitive.

I also think the player’s age isn’t displayed clearly enough; it’s something I find myself having to search for when I’m on the player’s profile page, which isn’t very user-friendly!

That’s changed now; it’s better this way.
