Hello,
I’ve got a rather unusual team project: I’m putting together a home-grown team that I’m building from scratch. But it’s not just any team – I’m ONLY recruiting Venezuelan players, who come ONLY from the city of Maturín and whose surname is ONLY Mendoza. The difficulty level is set at 91% right there 😅
Anyway, one of the aims of this odd project is to have brothers in my team. Players like de Boer, Neville, Hernández and the like. But strangely enough, even after trying every possible combination to get some, I’ve never found any.
But that was without counting on my junior scout, who found this very mediocre player E. Mendoza, claiming he was the brother of A. Mendoza – I’m not including the link as the junior scout’s post didn’t contain one, and this player could be the brother of three players in my team whose first names begin with A.
So I promoted the whole lot of them just to have some brothers in the team. However, E. Mendoza is a real pain in the neck, but he’s supposedly ‘the brother of’ and that’s honestly absolutely brilliant.
Except that’s not the case. That much-sought-after trait has vanished. He’s been promoted, and there’s no mention of him being related to any of the A.Mendozas in my team.
Question: I’ve seen other managers talk about brothers before. Can you give me an explanation? Any advice? Would Aymeric45 have a minute to tell me how to get my hands on the Holy Grail?
Thanks

It’s not a bad idea – add a mention of his brother and, why not, say that this player is from ‘town’ in ‘country’. We work our arses off in scouting, so we might as well get a little bonus :)
