Unfortunately, once again, we are witnessing an unfair decision that only serves to widen the huge gap between the D1 teams and the rest of the divisions.
Rewarding the league champion is a great idea, but why isn’t this extended to D2 and D3?

So I propose a better solution: implementing a sliding-scale system:
​Division 1 champion: Receives 100% of the prize money.
​Division 2 champion: Receives 50% or 60% of the prize money.
​Division 3 champion: Receives 25% or 30% of the prize money.
​This solution makes it possible to:
​Support clubs in the lower divisions to help them progress.
​Maintain a reasonable financial gap in favour of Division 1, without unfairly widening the divide.

I was expecting this topic and I knew it would come from you; you’re complaining about the economic gap with D1, yet you’ve got a team with a 90 NG rating after just six months of play, and your club is already in D3 after only a few months in existence, I don’t think you’re in a position to complain about an economic gap when compared to alliances that have been around for several years.

Actually, I think what he’s proposing is quite reasonable.

It’s a bit like saying that, in a league, the winners of the second and third tiers don’t receive any prize money, when in reality they do.

He’s also proposing a system with rewards that decrease depending on the division the club plays in, which strikes me as consistent and balanced.

No, what bothers me is the way the issue is being raised. I’ve no problem with there being bonuses in the other divisions, but instead of just making a normal proposal, you’d rather use this as an opportunity to bash the ‘bad’ Premier League clubs who are too strong and too rich, even though in six months’ time you’ll have the squad to compete in that division.

I thought this applied to the lower divisions as well. It stands to reason… that he shouldn’t receive a similar reward makes sense, but that he gets nothing at all doesn’t. Just like the title in the honours list for Divisions 2 to 5… it costs nothing to add it. It recognises a collective achievement that deserves a place in the honours list; depending on the division, it may be less prestigious. But it’s still a title…

It’s not the teams, but rather one player per team.
Strange for a team competition, but oh well…

Socrate: Pour le coup, je trouve que ce qu’il propose est plutôt légitime.

C’est un peu comme si, dans un championnat, les vainqueurs de D2 et D3 ne percevaient aucune prime, alors qu’en réalité ils en reçoivent une.

Il propose également un système avec des récompenses dégressives selon la division dans laquelle évolue le club, ce qui me paraît cohérent et équilibré.

PS: J’aurais juste changer le titre qui fait trop racoleur pour pas dire l’expression plus vulgaire.
