4 days agoRegistration is now open for this new edition of the IS Cup (D3 to D5)!
Registration deadlines: Day 4 or 16 entrants
The organiser for this edition will be:
Skjodvegg SK ~[CP]~
Registration:
Only the manager or the chairman is authorised to register their club for the IS Cup. To register, please state “Read and approved” along with the manager’s name and the club’s name. If
you commit to taking part, you must ensure you are able to participate until the end. You must be able to fit 6 IS matches into your schedule. These 6 IS matches are guaranteed by the competition (except in the event of a walkover or walkovers beyond the organisers’ control).
NO OUT-OF-COMPETITION IS MATCHES MAY BE PLAYED.
The competition must take place in a spirit of camaraderie. Any insults, disrespect, or other actions or words intended to denigrate a person or a team are strictly prohibited on all platforms. Failure to comply will result in sanctions against the team (which may include disqualification).
Should a team withdraw without providing a valid reason to the competition organiser, that
team will not be permitted to take part in the next edition.
Competition rules: see French rules; IS match
- In the event of a draw during the knockout stages (quarter-finals, etc.), both team managers must submit a set of 5 shots and 5 saves to one of the competition organisers as soon as possible after the match. - Penalties (A set of 5 shots and 5 saves must be submitted to one of the organisers. For each shot/save, the manager must specify whether the player/goalkeeper shoots/dives to the right, centre, or middle)
Competition procedure:
- The competition format for D3 à 5 will be announced by the organiser depending on the number of entrants. The draws will be conducted using online software to ensure transparency. The draw results will be published by the organisers. For any disputes, please
contact them directly via private message. Two sister clubs may not face each other in the group stage.
- The dates for each stage of the competition will be provided by the organisers.
In the event of a tie on points at the end of the group stage/the
championship, the tied teams will be ranked as follows:
Overall goal difference, Best attack
Head-to-head goal difference (Goal difference, but only from the matches between the two teams tied)
- Further information:
- You may select up to 3 players
per club and 4 players from the manager’s own club.
- The 5-5-0 formation is prohibited during matches.
- The fixture list and league tables will be managed using a Google spreadsheet, but will be viewable directly on the VForum
- A Discord server specifically for the competition is available to everyone. Discord
- If the venue for the match is
accidentally reversed, you must contact an admin to request
that the match be reversed. Please note that this does not guarantee the match will be reversed or cancelled! The admin may not necessarily have time to deal with it. In this case, the match will therefore have to be played as normal.
TAB explanations:
- For shots: If a player shoots to the right, the ball simply goes to the right.
- For saves: Saves are made from the goalkeeper’s perspective; that is to say, if the opponent shoots to the right (from the goalkeeper’s perspective), the goalkeeper must dive to the left to save the shot.
Here is an example of a penalty shoot-out: Team A’s shots: G-C-D-C-D
Team B’s saves: G-C-G-D-C
Team B’s shots: D-D-C-G-D
Team A saves: G-G-C-C-C
Team A wins the penalty shoot-out 3–2.
At the end of the first round, if the score is still level, the two coaches must submit another round of 5 shots and 5 saves to the organiser. This second penalty shoot-out will be played as ‘sudden death’, meaning that the first team to score and save a penalty wins the shoot-out.
Enjoy the tournament!

These 6 IS matches are guaranteed by the competition (except in the event of a walkover or walkovers beyond the organisers’ control). NO IS MATCHES OUTSIDE THE COMPETITION MAY BE PLAYED.
The competition must take place in a spirit of camaraderie. Any insults, disrespect, or other actions or words intended to denigrate a person or a team are strictly prohibited on all platforms. Failure to comply will result in sanctions against the team (which may include disqualification).

The fixture list and league tables will be managed using a Google spreadsheet, but will be viewable directly on the VForum.
