I’d like to raise a point that strikes me as interesting regarding the league season that has just ended.
The champions have been inactive for over a month and a half. During this period, there were no tactical adjustments, no squad management, and no response to injuries or suspensions.
Yet they still finished as champions.
What strikes me even more is that the xGoals-adjusted table awards them around 8 points fewer than their final total. With this adjustment, they would no longer be champions.
I’m not questioning the current rules of the game, as they’re the same for everyone. However, I do wonder whether the final result truly reflects the best management over the course of the season.
Do you think it’s normal for a club to remain inactive for over 45 days and still retain enough of a lead to win the title?
More broadly, do you think the current system sufficiently rewards activity and the quality of management, or does it place too much emphasis on short-term success?
I’d be interested to hear your views.

Alex': Merci Misha 🫶

It’s to stop you getting fed up with D1 ^^
More seriously, it really is very absurd, especially when you see your head-to-head...

Pauul76: C’est pour t’éviter que la D1 t’écœure ^^
Plus sérieusement, c’est effectivement très absurde, d’autant plus en voyant ton face à face..

I’ll be AFK for a bit, haha 🤣
