As you’re no doubt aware, assists in the league are only counted towards the ‘Assist Leaders’ table if the player has scored a ‘Goal’.
This is a shame for clubs that have “Assist Providers” and “Goal Scorers” in their teams.
On the player profile, the number of league assists is shown, but it’s ultimately of little use if the player isn’t ranked.

On the IRL players’ Wikipedia page, only goals are taken into account, regardless of the player’s position.
That’s no doubt why Özil is underrated, very often overlooked, and compared to certain players who aren’t even in the same league as him when it comes to passing.

Bruno Fernandes was the Premier League’s top assist provider this season.

It would be great to have more information at the top of the match reports. (We only get the goalscorers...)Assists, bookings, or even injuries… that would be really nice!!
(I’m thinking for role-play, in particular)
And whilst I’m at it, yes, on the progress tab of the player profile too, all that info (goals – assists – cards – even injuries).
And as a bonus, it would also be great (yes, I know… I’m asking for a lot – it’s not Christmas, but you never know^^) if it generated sentences in their biographies…
