5 month agoThis subject is intended for the game's creator.
I'm currently level 3 with 118 points, and to reach level 7, I need to reach 1000 points in order to finish developing the cdf.
However, from what I've heard from several members, the academy doesn't really matter until level 9.
Do you really think that makes sense?
It takes an enormous amount of time, not just weeks or months... but almost years.
As a new player, I honestly don't see any point in developing the cdf at the moment.
But I'd just like an answer to my question:
Are you going to leave this system as it is, or are you considering revising it?

5 month agoDo you have a proposal to make to improve this without allowing every new player to have a maximum CDF after a month? Give him a good suggestion and maybe he'll look into it. The thing is, it shouldn't be made too simple either... the aim being to help a club grow, and its facilities with it, without rushing through all the stages. Already, in 1 week, you can get a team from a guy who took 2 years to get it, so if you have the same thing for the facilities, it's complicated. This is more of a management game.

5 month agoTry to understand before you speak unnecessarily.
The subject is quite clear: I put a question directly to the game's creator.
I don't need to argue about it, I'm just waiting for his answer, nothing more.

5 month agoJust by looking at the answers, you quickly realise that it's going to go round in circles... when it's empty, it's empty. Better to leave it at that.

5 month agoSo send him a PM if you don't want a reply. Because opening a topic on a forum leads to replies. That's the basis of the exchange. Otherwise, you can have a private discussion on the game, on discord or by email. I wouldn't advise you to try and understand before talking pointlessly, it's a bit late for that.

5 month agoWhat can I say?
You newcomers want everything straight away, sorry, but in Ireland you don't have a CFD with stars directly in it.
A new club in Ireland doesn't have a CFD, it takes years and years for them to get one.
It took us old-timers a long time to get to this level, so why give yourselves an advantage?
Yes, you have an advantage by having big players from the start (at my beginnings, players with 30 years of potential were worth 30M, another world, certainly the points were in relation to the level of the opponent, but there were no big levels).
I'd remind you that you're playing a management game, so it's up to you to adapt to the game, not the game to adapt to you.

5 month agoAnd blah, blah, blah us old-timers blah, blah, blah
But we can still say that the system can be improved without some old-timer getting involved to preach his parish, which, apart from being wrong, is of no interest whatsoever?

5 month agoYes, the cdf takes time, the holy grail of infrastructures, but in our day, a win was worth 8, 9 or 10 points...
So perhaps a slight change to the scale could be made. I think a 3-point win is fine, but what about the level scales?
Have a good week!

5 month agoOne solution might be to award at least 2 points for wins, including in friendlies, and why not award 1 point for draws in friendlies, regardless of the opposing index?
- index <=2 ==> Victory earns 2 pts, a draw 1 point (even vs index 1)
- index > 2 we keep the current scale
Without greatly speeding things up, this will make it easier to get ahead and reduce the impact of randomness on the choice of friendlies. It makes it easier to reach 100pts per season, and it's easy to aim for more with a championship.

5 month agoYou could turn your message around and say exactly the same thing about new players who don't want to wait.
Of course it takes a long time. I've been waiting for a year and a half and I should have the level 9 cdf soon.
You just have to be patient.

5 month agoMy dear Ali_Cool, wanting a level 10 cdf straight away isn't the best thing...
In that case, why would anyone play it for years if you can get through the whole game in 1 month?
You've already made an issue of the fact that us newbies don't earn enough money, now it's time for the cdf...
But you need to take your time, you're in too much of a hurry, play the game, and in a few years you'll have a great cdf, it's a management game, not FC 26 with a cheat code...
Have a good game!

5 month agoThere are also a lot of clubs that train players and offer free matches, giving 3 points for each win. This can be a fairly quick way to improve your VF level with friendlies. A big thank you to them because they could be playing inactive players.

5 month agoHello ,
Thank you for calming down with your comparisons between old and new, there is no connection or comparison to be made on different versions and different times with different management.
You want the game to improve, so stop your boring wars and bring constructive debates to bring balance while remaining a management game, and Aymeric had said, he is open to any proposals for improvement for the cdf as long as we do not move to matches like with our main teams (team A B or C).

My question is as follows: I read that Aymeric is open to suggestions for improvements, but what action is taken on the various suggestions in the appropriate section? I can't see any.
Good or bad, it would be nice to have some feedback from time to time.

5 month agoThat's what I keep telling the creator of the subject, you have to come up with something. Because if you don't, it's all very empty and the subject will inevitably go round in circles. But people say, "Seriously, mate". After that, on VF, I'm not surprised, fortunately.

5 month agoHello everyone, I wanted to share my point of view on the debate surrounding the speed of progression of the training centre. We often hear that it should be faster, but for my part, after about 18 months on Virtua Foot, I find that the balance is perfect for a management game.
I'm currently level 5 with a level 7 CoF, and at this stage you can already raise your centre to level 8. I think that's already very interesting: even if I'm not investing 100% in my CoF at the moment, my scout is already bringing me players with a potential of 74, like this one: #formation?fid=956371. A player with 74 potential is already a great deal if you know how to train him and distribute his points properly.
I've been concentrating solely on training young players for several seasons now. I think that anyone who really wants a level 10 CoF can get it quickly if they give themselves the means. The current balance is good because everyone manages as they wish according to their objectives. Personally, I've chosen to develop my centre little by little so that I can understand how it works, but for those who are in a hurry, you just have to be competitive. It's not enough to have a high overall score, you need to get on well with your team and earn as many points as possible each season to get your level up and unlock the CdF max.
In short, the current system rewards strategy and patience, and that's what makes the game so interesting. Enjoy the game!

5 month agoI couldn't have said it better myself. I was level 7 after 2 years of playing and with the objective from the start of making a nation out of my cdf and I find the balance perfect for me. I've been able to compete and train while developing my club at the same time, and you can get to level 7 pretty quickly in that way.
