7 month agoGood evening. Respect is part of the rules, so if someone insults me and thinks I won't say anything, they don't know me very well - no-one is supposed to ignore the rules...

7 month agoI'm sure we agree. But you can simply send a message to admin to point it out

7 month agoIt's been done, at first I'm being inveigled by someone I don't know, after sending the facts to an administrator, I receive another message from another person who is also starting to bother me, if this continues, it could become moral harassment if it isn't already the case...

7 month agoYou have to assume that you don't know who's behind the pseudonym...he may know a lot more about the workings of VF than you or I do.
Playing hard to get with those who seem like easy targets proves that the easy target is not who you think it is... so long, ciao.

7 month agoAs for contacting an administrator, he did so by sending me a message today so, from that point of view, everything has been well done.
As for the root of the problem, my advice is to simply ignore or even 'block' managers who are being unpleasant rather than play their game.

7 month agoHi, I've been playing the game for just over two months now, and I find it a good distraction, but if you come across people who are probably having fun putting you down, it's no longer fun...

7 month agoThat's not my way of thinking in principle, but blocking without reacting would have been too simple and this merry-go-round could then continue towards other new managers, which for me is unacceptable...

7 month agoHe bah... When I see the reactions of Zeus and magpie in particular, I can see that the community will never be able to evolve with t*c like that... Sorry about that Neat. Indeed, if you're just starting out on VF, talk directly to the admins, so that the old-timers, who only respect the "old-timers", don't tackle you stupidly...

7 month agoYou're mixing everything up.
It's just that, frankly, it's totally pointless to come out in public for this kind of trivia.
It's a disciplinary matter. All you have to do is contact an admin and that's it.
What's the point of sharing this?

7 month agoOn the substance I agree with you, but on the form I find that you exaggerate and that others also, it is a new of the game, to make him the reflexion so that it contacts only one admin without posting that on the posts would have been wiser. Mutual help on the game is disappearing more and more. Bonne soirée

7 month agoWell... he's the one on the poster...
Anyway. You'll note that I suggested that he see an admin and stop displaying it wholesale.
Your reaction seems strong to me.
In short, we're a long way from a self-help topic. Everything is posted in the rules. Insult => contact an admin.
As for the rest, it's true that we operate differently. I still can't understand the point of coming here to talk in public about a "one-to-one" subject.
Anyway, it doesn't matter. In any case, we'll all agree that gratuitous insults have no place here 👍

7 month agoGood evening, I knew very well from the rules that I had to contact an administrator and that's what I did, but it's not stated in the rules that you can't talk about it on this forum, so I'm expressing myself here in any case...

7 month agoThis rule was put in place for a number of reasons, including the lack of interest in duelling in public, the fact that it's easier for admins to deal with cases in private by avoiding interference, the often catastrophic way in which this type of subject turns out, and so on. It's bad enough that we've got nervous, not-so-wired people showing their little muscles about everything and anything in this game, so there's no need to add subjects that are likely to get out of hand. Especially as it adds nothing to the resolution of the initial problem. The only people who can help are the admins.
In the past, cases of insults, cheating, etc. were open to everyone. We quickly realised that it was pointless.
Have a good day/evening everyone :)
