37h agoHello Aymeric,
Unfortunately, I've just lost my full-back in the federation as he's been loaned out to another club. (Bad luck for me đ)
Is it possible to improve things by being able to select players on loan? I'm not proposing this topic in the improvement section because I don't realise whether it's technically feasible or not.
I think it's a shame not to be able to select the best players just because they're on loan...
Best regards hydilik

36h agoTwo loans (club + federation) at the same time?
I don't see how this can be the case with the current loan schedule.

Yes, that's why I'm asking the question. To know if he can give this possibility without it bugging.

34h agoI have a player currently on loan with me who has just been "selected" by the federation for an upcoming match...
Should I refuse the selection to avoid losing him along the way?
Thank you

Merci
In my case, the player was on the list because he was already in my squad. When he was called up, he didn't come to my federation.
I don't think you need to do anything...

27h agoI also have a player with me on loan, he's called up by the federation but doesn't leave when he's supposed to.
So nothing can be done by the club that has the player on loan.

26h agoI find it hard to understand why a player on loan should be selected by the federation but not by the IS?
In the rules it is written that for selection in IS it is forbidden to call up and play a player on loan.
Federation selection works on the same principle as IS. The only difference is that we select by country and not by agreement.
So it is logical that if a player on loan cannot be called up for the IS, he cannot be called up for the federation selection.

I don't share your opinion, because it should be the same for SIs. It should also work, but I imagine that with IS, there could be abuse and cheating.
That's not really the problem. It's forbidden in IS because it simply doesn't work. Players on loan stay with the coach.
For federation matches, it's more complicated.
The federation president does not belong to a cartel. He has access to all the players in his federation.
The aim is to select the best players in his federation.
The player in question has played in all my matches, so he now has an affinity with the other players. Unfortunately, this player is on loan, so there's nothing more I can do. Some countries are less rich than others in terms of the number of good players, and there's also the rule of a maximum of 5 players per agreement, etc., which makes things even more complicated.
The aim of a federation is to be able to select the best players to compete against other federations.
When you lose a player, it's a shame because he's on loan.
Then, from a coherent point of view, just because you're on loan at an A club doesn't mean you can't represent your country...

24h agoI'm of the same opinion as bluethunders26: no loan in IS so no loan in the Federation.
Furthermore, with your logic of being able to select the best, what are you doing with the refusal of selection? Should we do away with this choice? This refusal of selection is not possible in IS. But, as physical fitness is not 100% in IS, you can arrange for the player not to be physically fit on the day of the match.
For the Federation's regular chairmen/selectors, the rules and bugs/flaws are well known and are far from being a priority for improvement, so we'll just have to deal with that.

I think that comparing IS and federation matches is already a mistake, given that they have nothing to do with each other.
The IS is a competition that promotes the spirit of agreement, given that the club must give priority to its player for the agreement at the sacrifice of its club, so you always have the right to refuse, especially if you don't feel involved. You're going to play with your player the day before an IS match and so the player can't be used.
So you have a say.
In contrast, federation matches are a more individualistic competition. The club can refuse the loan of its player, but I think that's a bit of a shame given that there's no impact on the club (except in the case of injury, I think, but we'd have to confirm that).
But you can play the way you want with your player. He comes with 100% fitness to the federation and also comes back with 100% fitness to the club and the loan only lasts 2 hours for the duration of the match.
As for the flaws. They are indeed known and managed by the rules, so they have nothing to do with the original subject...
Refusing the loan is a shame for the federation's coach, but it's a shame to make that choice...

Donc tu as ton mot Ă dire. Mais c'est quand...
I can confirm that if a player is injured in the federation, he goes home injured.

The point mentioned by Blagoje seems to me to be more decisive: how can 2 loans be made at the same time, solely by a federation? (This would be complicated to achieve, and closes the debate/idea).
I'm not particularly in total agreement with the statement "Federation selection works on the same principle as IS. The only difference is that we select by country and not by agreement", and I think that Hydilik is also thinking about this overall (with a little thought about some of the "loopholes" that would be opened up by unbridling loan lending in the two scenarios discussed):
-
In IS, it's a team that represents up to 50 members (an agreement, for an agreement classification). Boosting an IS team with temporary loans would be very, very problematic. Let's imagine A already has 2 players selected, B has no players, A lends to B, then the coach takes from B, to have 3 players from A in the selection to help the 50-member agreement. The agreement between Mr A + B and Mr A as a result would have a lot to gain from this loophole...
-
In a Federation, the team only represents the coach (and not 50 coaches under the same country banner), which changes everything in principle. One concern I can see would be potentially getting around the limit of 1 player per team per federation, with Mr A lending a 2nd player of the same nationality as one of his other players already selected to Mr B (who has no players of that nationality selected). An xP gain would go to Mr A's player (if he plays), but not the financial gain, which would go to Mr B. But Mr A doesn't have much to gain from the federation performing (unless he gets a slightly bigger bonus at the end of the season depending on his performance).
