Changes to how players are displayed – we’ll have to get used to it 😁
However, is the spider web still useful? In my opinion, no. Removing it would allow us to return to a vertical display of stats. I find that the two-column layout makes the stats less intuitive to read.

I was just about to post something on this very topic! I agree with you about the player stats being displayed in two columns. It’s far less intuitive than before. I thought the old version was already very good. As for the new way of displaying NG, pot, age and so on, I’m not too keen on it personally. Although I’d vote for a return to a single-column layout for the stats on the player profile, which is the most important thing for me.
As for the spider web, it doesn’t really bother me that much, but it takes up more space than before. It’ll make some people happy who prefer to read the data visually like that.

I really like the recent graphical updates, but the two-column layout isn’t very intuitive.

I also think the player’s age isn’t displayed clearly enough; it’s something I find myself having to search for when I’m on the player’s profile page, which isn’t very user-friendly!

Why didn’t they stick with the two-column layout, which was very clear?

Just one column with stamina at the bottom was… perfect.
We’re all used to that, though. Now it takes my brain five minutes to work out what sort of player they are 😅

We’re all in agreement that we’d like the specifications to be displayed in a single column, just as they were before. If they can be read and updated quickly, it really isn’t that great this way.

The display is designed for mobile phones. That’s fine.

Change is always a bit of a nuisance at first, but then everyone will get used to it and things will be back to normal :-)

I agree that the diagram might no longer be necessary, and besides, it isn’t very attractive – in any case, it’s quite different from the rest of the template.

And what about the information on whether a player is right-footed or left-footed (not counting special players who are two-footed)?
Is this information useful, or is it purely ‘cosmetic’?

Well, I don't think it has the effect you're describing.

Overall, I think the player card is very good (like all the updates over the last few days) and offers lots of potential!
However, I feel the top section lacks visual appeal, and I’ve got a few design ideas in mind to replace the large coloured boxes with a number.

• A representation of potential, like in #formation?activity&stats, might work well (the stars and the pot value).
• A circular representation of the NG (where 1 NG = 1%, 99 NG = 100%, and with the colour gradient of the circle matching that of the NG already established), with the NG value written inside the circle.
• Age displayed in a colour other than green (to avoid confusion with NG, which is often green)
• Physical attributes could follow the same logic as NG too: a coloured circle ranging from 0 to 100.
• I don’t think there’s much point in displaying the player’s number again in the box; it’s already right at the top in the player’s name. (Although it is clickable here, so it might be useful! Or perhaps make both the player’s name and number at the very top clickable in the player profile?)
• I don’t mind the stats graph or the stats themselves at all, though; perhaps a graphical refresh of the graph might address some of the comments?

In any case, a big thank you to A45 for all these changes, their responsiveness and, above all, for listening to suggestions and feedback!

The biography isn’t very interesting either.
The content is repetitive.
If it means the features can be listed in the same column, I’ll take it!

Rather than the biography, which is indeed rather repetitive and a bit too ‘robotic’, it might actually be better to leave that space free instead for: the player’s honours list (in a very simplified form, of course) and details of his number of international caps, as well as his transfer history (club and transfer fees).
