A clear-cut, flawless victory for Sweden, who beat India 3–0. Completely dominant, the Swedes capitalised on their numerous attacking opportunities whilst completely stifling the opposition’s attack.
It was a one-sided match. The Swedish team dictated the pace from start to finish, displaying clinical efficiency in front of goal. Scoring three goals from 12 clear-cut chances, the Swedish strikers proved incisive against an Indian defence that was completely overwhelmed. For their part, the Indian side were sorely lacking in attacking options, failing to create a single dangerous chance throughout the match. The Indian forwards were completely shut down by the opposition defence. Frustration was also evident in their play, with Indian players picking up two yellow cards. Sweden managed the match perfectly and secured a well-deserved victory.

Two Belgian shots off target and one feeble effort straight at the goalkeeper for Laos.
That was the first half...
Belgium’s third shot went wide.
One chance for Laos... but offside...
Several substitutions between the 60th and 70th minutes... a battle of glances between the two managers...
Then, in the 88th minute, the play flows, the ball moves, a shot is taken and… it’s on target!!!

Hello,
Although I don’t consider myself an organiser, I have to admit that I’ve been stepping in to help out recently. (In other words, if no one else is available, I’ll take the lead).
This message is to let you know that, as this season ends on 15 August,
given my real-life schedule (summer is very busy), I won’t be able to manage or organise registrations and/or the tournament.
Don’t count on me!
Nothing’s impossible, but I’ll be in a bit of a remote area, without a laptop… yes, it’s doable with a smartphone, but on top of that I’ll be knackered… anyway… playing should remain a pleasure.
Try to organise yourselves, especially with regard to: the Copa América, the Asian Cup and the Africa Cup of Nations and/or the Afro-Asian Cup…
VFIFA is everyone! Everyone can do their bit!
PS: It should be a bit easier for me around 23 August, so if anyone needs to take over from me, please do.

After numerous substitutions, the equaliser came from the bench, unleashing a more dangerous Finnish side.
It wasn’t until the very last minute of the match that another substitute secured three precious points in this very tough group!

Sweden held firm against Scotland’s attacks to secure a 0–0 draw. Although outplayed by an attacking but clumsy Scottish side, the Swedish defence stood firm. Scotland launched wave after wave of attacks without ever finding a way through, whilst Sweden proved very opportunistic.
This goalless draw feels like a real coup for Sweden, who managed to sit back and weather the storm.
The Scandinavian rearguard were content to defend. Despite seven clear-cut chances for Scotland, Sweden repelled every threat.
The Swedes needed just one chance to try and spring a surprise, though without success.
The match was generally a fair affair, but Scotland’s frustration at Sweden’s defensive wall resulted in a yellow card being shown to a Swedish player for disrupting the flow of the game in the closing stages.
