I'll take up here a subject that got a bit out of hand on the "Penalty" topic, but which I think is worth developing.... You'd think the algorithm was developed back in the catenaccio days and nothing's changed since then! It's not the carrots that are killing the game, it's the algorythm's lack of responsiveness to tactical changes and even more or less daring choices (for good or ill). Here's an example:

At the moment the match isn't even over, so it doesn't matter whether I lose or not. What seems ridiculous is that in this situation of imbalance on both sides, neither team has created a chance since the 40th minute, i.e. for more than 30 minutes. I've been in red, in PC and in attacking mode since the 40th minute and neither I nor my opponent, who could also be entitled to one or more chances, has had any! It's almost as if the imbalances are cancelling each other out when they should be doing just the opposite...
Time to reflect and write this article. The match is in its 80th minute and there still haven't been any chances. What a bore!

If you look closely you’ll realize your opponent is playing extremely defensive game which make it difficult for your players to score……… seems reasonable to me.
I understand it dan be frustrating at times but it’s football heritage. Enjoy the game 😉

I talked about that in another thread and two days later here's my game, 5 chances, 5 goals in 30 minutes against an opponent I certainly dominated but who wasn't horrible either.
