3 dias atrásHello everyone,
Suggestion for improvement: if no matches are organised for a certain period (two seasons? Three seasons?), the chairman and the manager would be dismissed and new elections would be held.
What do you think?

+1
Although I do think the replacement mechanism should be triggered after a season of inactivity, or perhaps rounded up to 60 days.
Have a nice day

3 dias atrásYes, one season would be enough, especially if it’s the first season.
One sometimes wonders what motivates some people to stand for election.
Almost one in two federations has withdrawn or is on the verge of doing so.

3 dias atrásmyforsans: Oui une saison suffirait notamment si c'est la première saison.
On se demande parfois quelle est la motivation de certains pour se présenter.
Il y a presque une fédération sur deux à l'abandon ou en quasi abandon.
For some, the motivation for signing lots of players from their own teams is to make a bit of money

2 dias atrásThere are others as well; it’s to get the funds out – 1M for promotion with a Level 3 CDF, and then you pay it back; it’s always nice.

2 dias atrásAnother interesting question is: why are they being dropped?
Are the rules a bit too harsh on smaller nations, with the rule allowing them to select one player per club?
But that’s another matter ;-)
As for the subject of the post, yes, I think it’s a good idea.

36 horas atrás@Aymeric45, would it be possible to change the kick-off times for league matches? Perhaps move them back by half an hour to a 10.30 pm kick-off?
At the moment, players are called up at 9.55 pm for a 10 pm kick-off; sometimes we forget about the match, or it’s impossible to put a game plan in place in that short space of time. It would be good to have that half-hour buffer to manage this, at least so we can field a starting XI.

35 horas atrásI’m not keen on that either – 10 pm is already late.

35 horas atrás10 pm is fine, yes, and to make sure you don’t forget, just set an alarm for 9.55 pm – that way you’re sure to be online before 10 pm

34 horas atrásThe kick-off times are late, but I understand this is to avoid clashes with league, cup, IE and IS matches, which start no later than 8 pm. Otherwise, it’s unmanageable.

32 horas atrásThe leagues still require quite a few changes and bug fixes of all kinds.
That said, not everything needs changing.
And if there’s one thing that definitely shouldn’t be changed, it’s the 10 pm kick-off times, which are a result of the huge influx of 8 pm matches.
There were a lot of issues with the timings when the leagues were launched, but at least things have now stabilised.
So, above all, don’t touch that – otherwise it risks throwing a spanner in the works for lots of other things and creating a whole chain of new bugs.
It’s quite possible that 10 pm doesn’t suit everyone, but it’s the least worst option given the game’s other constraints.
Furthermore, being a federation president or manager is a completely optional extra.
So for those who’d like to play at a different time, there’s only one solution: don’t be a manager. It won’t penalise their club in any way!
