A COMMUNITY THAT SELECTS WINNERS?

Hello, it certainly won’t please everyone, but it doesn’t bother me in the slightest.

Does the community single out the winners of the various competitions?
I usually see threads spring up when it’s a matter of publicly congratulating this or that team, or publicly congratulating a particular manager on winning the Champions League – it all happens quickly and seamlessly, as if the tap had been turned on and wouldn’t shut off.

Lahi, who was world champion, and Kirikou, VFFA champion.
The AFU is on top of the VF league this season, but quite a few people seem to be ignoring it; yet when it came to accusing us in the past of being massive cheats, Threads, groups and much more on Discord were set up against us to spout nonsense; why is it that today, when the awards are on the table, nobody’s talking about them? Are these awards for cheating yet again? Or is it because astonishment has set in? Or worse still, is it because the very same people who used to drown us out are now too full of hatred to admit that the work is well done and that we’re improving day by day? Learn to treat everyone equally without making distinctions; I’ve got so much more to say, but I’ll stop there.

NB: Thank you to all the managers who contacted the two winners privately to give them the respect they deserve – you’re true gentlemen.

I reckon, above all, that the VFA is less of a big deal for managers than the Champions League – it’s the same every season. Give the managers a bit of time to start this thread if it hasn’t been done yet; the final was only 36 hours ago. As for the World Cup, I think there was a thread congratulating Lahi, if I’m not mistaken.
Just a quick note: it works better when it’s spontaneous 😇

La communauté trie les vainqueurs des différentes compétions ?
Je vois généralement des topics s'ouvrir quand il s'agit de féliciter tel ou tel ententes publiquement ou féliciter tel manager publiquement pour un sacre en LDC ça se fait de manière rapide et fluide comme si le robinet ne fermait plus.

As for Lahi, I don’t agree that Misha lacked the sportsmanship to come and congratulate his opponent in public under the ‘VF World Cup 2026’ post, which has been open since the start of the competition
I don’t think anyone would have started a new thread just to congratulate him – let’s be realistic....

As far as I know, Lahi was congratulated via the World Cup post and in private messages by some managers; as for Kirikou, he was surely congratulated in private messages as well, and there was nothing stopping you or another member of your alliance from doing the same as the CP did following Azby’s victory andstart a thread so we could congratulate the winner. As mentioned above, the VFFA generates less buzz than the Champions League, I didn’t see a single post congratulating Euskadi on his victory last season, and this is quite common for quite a few competitions in the game; there’s no point in seeing the negative in everything, regardless of any differences there may have been in the past. In any case, congratulations once again to Lahi on his World Cup victory, and well done to Kirikou on his run in the VFFA and his overall victory!

Rather than complaining about something that doesn’t make sense, couldn’t you just have started a thread for Kirikou, for example, to congratulate him? That’s what people often do. Instead, you’ve started a thread that’s bound to be closed quickly or to cause unnecessary arguments. Nothing’s right – from A to Z, it’s all a mess. Anyway, have a nice day!

Incidentally, I personally reserve the right to congratulate whoever I like, whether you like it or not. I didn’t congratulate Jex when he won either. It’s important not to confuse ‘fair play’ with ‘hypocrisy’.

Demi-cerveau: Accessoirement, je revendique personnellement le droit de féliciter qui je souhaite, ne t'en déplaise. Je ne félicitais pas non plus Jex quand il gagnait. Ni les pleureurs continuels du mdm. C'est important de ne pas confondre "fair-play" et "faux-cul".
