I can't be for or against until I have more details. - How many mergers to result in how many championships? - Rules for assigning clubs from merged championships to D1, D2, D3, etc.? - Fate of inactive clubs and distribution in the championships? If it has to be a shaky merger that will create discontent, I'm against it, but if it has to be a merger with new empty championships and freedom to register wherever you want for the first season, then with a breakdown of clubs by division based on the French ranking, I'm for it.
