I’m really pleased with this new feature. The shop is finally worth a look, rather than just being automatically stocked and used for X2.

However, even though the feature is still in its early stages, I can already see room for improvement, as the number of followers depends on the NG. However, I think a long-standing player might have more followers than a player with a higher NG.

I think the settings should be able to vary according to different criteria.

What do you think of this new feature?

Personally, I don’t find it very interesting and it’s completely out of date, given that all the shirts are made in China anyway^^

Not at all
It doesn’t just depend on the NG

If I take my best player in the NG (who also has great stamina)
What’s more, the icing on the cake is that he’s always selected for IS matches and for the national team
What’s more, he’s my second-highest goalscorer and my top assist provider
In short, he’s got everything it takes to be ‘visible’
F. Wirtz
And yet he’s the one with the fewest followers amongst my first-team regulars (four times fewer than some)....Go figure :) :) :) :)

Determination must be more subtle than you think, or else there’s a (major) random variable at play

He was probably in a different squad with a low NG when the new update came out; I’ve had the same thing happen with several players with +90 NG who were in a different squad because of their playing style.
So the game treated them as if they were 60 NG, complete with the followers that go with that. 😅

It’s a shame that the NG is largely overlooked; stylish players have 50k followers even though they’re just as important

In any case, it seems clear that there will be regular updates to the follower count as the youngsters progress.

Perhaps knowing when these updates take place would help us organise ourselves to get the most out of the NG!

Yes, it’s a shame that a young player who’s my club’s top scorer doesn’t have any followers
On the other hand, I’m a bit confused. I’ve built the three machines and upgraded one to level 4 and two to level 2, but there are some things I don’t quite get yet. For example, if I’ve filled my stock to the max, can’t I sell my own items on the side or even build them?

It’s not very complicated – you start production runs on machines using the components you’ve bought, and as you go along you can craft items. I’m working on soft toys – that should bring in some money.

Personally, I’m hoping to secure a monopoly on cotton socks. Plus, as Magpie pointed out, if you kit out your players with socks you’ve produced yourself, they get a +2 speed bonus – that’s brilliant.

It’s not very complicated, but you need to be methodical.
You need raw materials to make products.
Some raw materials have to be bought at a market price (+5%/-13%, etc.)
Others have to be produced: for example, yarn

My workflow:
I’ve started making socks, but I need yarn. I need to buy cotton, launch the ‘Loom’ and select ‘Yarn’
The yarn will be added to stock. Then launch the ‘Loom’ and select ‘Socks’ (using the yarn produced earlier)

My third workshop is “Screen Printing”, where I produce “embroidered fabric” using yarn and ink that I’ve bought. I’ll use this embroidered fabric for certain higher-end products.

That’s the basic idea. As for R&D, in my opinion, we should wait until we’ve sold the first products.

A few questions:

  • Will prices fluctuate regularly or depending on certain factors?

  • Do you unlock new workshop slots as you level them up? (Just so I know whether it’s better not to level up the current workshops too much if I’ll have to remove them later)

Galywat: Quelques questions :

According to Aymeric’s post, it will eventually be possible to automate the entire shop; however, you need to be methodical and analyse each machine and each production run carefully – it reminds me of Factorio, for those in the know

I’ve downloaded this game, and let’s just say I’m done with the French version – that’s my firm opinion.

And to elaborate a bit further: I haven’t spent more than 10 seconds trying to figure it out yet; it seems a bit complicated to me, but that’s the point of a management game. However, if I wanted to manage a shop and machines, I’d play a different game.

But that’s not what bothers me the most. A45 must have spent quite some time developing this new feature; we should all be pleased – and yes, thank you for spending so much time on this… our game; thank you for bringing in new features.

But instead of making major changes to the leagues (a complete overhaul), inter-club competitions, the CDF, the federations, etc. – there’s plenty to do on the football side of things, in line with the community’s expectations – we find ourselves having to manage an idle tycoon game.

Anyway, I gave up a few weeks ago; this isn’t going to bring me back. Have a good day

Actually, it’s not that complicated, and Drosko has summed it up perfectly. I’d just add that raw material stocks should be managed in line with market prices to optimise production costs. And these prices seem to fluctuate every 24 hours. It’s up to us to manage those stocks.
What’s more, we need to keep an eye on production at our machines, which can grind to a halt if the necessary materials aren’t available.
And one last thing: we gain 1 RD point for every 100 items produced. And we can improve the quality of our products with 10 RD points.

OK, it’s new, but ultimately, is it just a new feature to get us to spend more time on Virtuafoot managing our shop, or will it actually boost our finances?

And if so, by how much: +1%, +5%, +10%, +20%, +50%...?

In my opinion, we’ll have to wait until we reach level 10 to get a clear idea. And it’s possible it’ll be like the TV channel, with returns over the long term.

That, and perhaps a tab with the ‘recipe’ for each product

1 product --> 30 mins
100 products --> 1 vial
10 vials --> 1 up (I suppose)
That’s 1,000 × 0.5 hours = 500 hours (around 21 days of continuous production)

Questo messaggio è stato tradotto. (FR) Messaggio originale

Drosko: 1 produit --> 30 mn
100 produits --> 1 fiole
10 fioles --> 1 up (j'imagine)
Soit 1000 x 0,5h = 500h (environ 21 jours en production continue)

No, you can craft several items at the same time, so I reckon at level 10 you should be able to craft about 20 items at once.

It seems a bit complicated to make several products at the same time – you’ll run out of raw materials...
You’ll have to juggle things.
Yes, for a while, but not all the time.

Damien2911: Comment faire de la toile brodée ?

Je viens de comprendre

You’ll need thread (made from cotton) produced on a loom.
And then you’ll also need ink.

Once you have the ink and thread, you can create embroidered fabric using a screen-printing machine.
