39 hari yang laluHello, you can only sell the shirts of 7 different players. I think you have shirts for more players than that, so the players with the fewest shirts to their name aren’t for sale, and there’s a little box for them.

Galywat |
37 hari yang laluYes, definitely. After all, it’s quite profitable. But at the moment, we just need to avoid producing everything in-house. We should focus on a few products, limiting the number of workshops to five or six at most.
The current cost of the workshops is now prohibitive beyond a certain level (the price doubles without increased production rates, which severely limits profitability). If that’s reviewed, there’ll no doubt be a way to do a bit more.
Now, perhaps it’s intentional not to produce everything in-house.

37 hari yang laluAs A45 said, there’s always the option of topping up stock manually and not using the workshop
The workshop will inevitably be profitable, but not within two weeks.
On the other hand, for those who’ve worked out the profitability in detail, it’s going to take a really long time, but yes, you need to focus on 5–6 items, and by doing that, you’ve already created a third of the shop through the workshop.
Pesan ini telah diterjemahkan. (FR) Pesan asli
Galywat |
37 hari yang laluYeah, I think that’s the key. In terms of VF, profitability needs to be viewed over the course of several years. Typically, we’re currently making a profit by focusing on a few specific productions. (If we imagine having around a hundred workshops at level 10).
Producing everything, on the other hand, takes decades – it’s not worth it at the moment.

37 hari yang laluWhen it comes to R&D, we’re obviously talking about x8
On the other hand, we need to strike the right balance to maximise profitability as quickly as possible; typically, producing only flock-printed shirts isn’t necessarily the best solution at the moment, as we need to focus on scaling up R&D. And that’s clearly what will take the longest
Pesan ini telah diterjemahkan. (FR) Pesan asli
Galywat |
37 hari yang laluLet’s say you can do a bit of both: producing only flock-printed shirts from home kits you’ve bought directly – you’ll be less profitable, but you’ll still make a decent profit. (Plus, it’s much less hassle.)

34 hari yang laluWhen you restock the shop automatically, you lose quality – is that normal?
For example, I was at 5 per cent quality on home shirts; I restocked 2,000 of them and then lost half the quality.

34 hari yang laluYes, that’s true, but given that the price doubles between each level, your profitability drops significantly as you upgrade your equipment, whilst a level 10 cutting machine is only worth two level 5 cutting machines. In my opinion, there are currently two options if you want to use the shop:
-
You’re rich and just don’t want to bother with it: max out your workshops to level 10 for production (calculating the right quantities), but you’ll only break even in a decade or more – in other words, never. However, you’ll have a guaranteed income.
-
You’re not that rich: it’s worth focusing on a few targeted productions and flocked shirts, whilst keeping your levels low. You can turn a profit after a few months, or even a handful of years.
The second option seems safer to me, particularly whilst we wait to see if prices or production levels are adjusted. (Things have already changed; they may change again.)

32 hari yang laluI’m currently at 180M (of which 50M was wasted by mistake after dismantling three fully upgraded looms --> a rookie mistake).
Total investment (excluding the mistake): 130M
Purchases optimised by -25% for the sale of products made in the workshop, total gain: perhaps 5 or 6 per cent of total sales
Weekly profit observed: 600k x 1.05, roughly: 630k at a rough estimate
206 weeks to recoup the investment, i.e. 4 years!
Now I’ll have to see if I can optimise all this… it’s no easy task… well, at least it helps to clear my bank account a bit and keeps me occupied, as I’ve completely given up on competitions and matches.
I doubt this shop will ever be profitable…
NB:
I make whistles, flags, customised shirts, posters, footballs, socks, soft toys, books… and I’ll soon be launching a range of football boots…but it’s still a real nightmare when it comes to draining bank accounts^^

34 hari yang laluThe other thing that makes me a bit wary of investing heavily is the possibility that recipes might change in the future.
At the moment, it’s not really an issue because no one has reached level 10 in the workshop with all the slots available yet. But if that does happen and the recipes change, if you have to switch workshops, that’s money completely down the drain.

33 hari yang laluSo we’ve just seen a massive drop in sales and followers.
I’m quite happy to accept that adjustments are needed, but for my part, out of 1,620 daily jersey sales, nearly 250 have gone up in smoke, just like that.
Was it really necessary to wipe out 15 per cent of turnover just a few days after making massive investments?
15 per cent of turnover vanishing in one go because of an update. Couldn’t it have waited until the return on investment had stabilised?

33 hari yang laluOverall, it now takes around 3.5 million followers to sell 300 per day, compared with 3 million previously (approximate estimates).
It should be noted that this is indeed a nerf (visible to those with players having fewer than 3.5 million followers), contrary to what I had told Sora internally, as the removal of affinity caused sales to rise as if all players had 100 per cent affinity under the old calculation system.
The growth rate of sales per follower has therefore decreased over the course of the day, unrelated to the affinity that was previously patched.
Moreover, the follower calculation system is very poor on paper, taking into account mainly NG, which is an extremely biased variable at any given moment depending on the instructions given and ‘player style’ strategies. Using the player’s training points total would already be a more meaningful metric (weighted according to age, potential, number of matches, titles… whatever else one might wish to include).

32 hari yang laluThat’s the problem when you don’t have a test environment. Normally, you’re supposed to create a test version, then develop it a bit before putting it into production. But it’s never worked that way on VF, so it’s no surprise. We shouldn’t have to wait another six months before we can play with the latest update to the game ^^

32 hari yang laluThe equivalent of ~20 per cent more than the previous impact.
Automation is going to become a serious problem if changes are made left, right and centre without warning. I now have two workshops in total that are overproducing, which, as well as having cost a total of 2.1M unnecessarily in levelling up (equivalent to four weeks’ profits from jersey sales – the gain from the update barely covers the loss caused by this nerf), has resulted in a skewed inventory in the shop, forcing me to deactivate the workshop every day as my initial setup has been disrupted. Not to mention the 680 vials (several days/weeks of farming) placed yesterday morning, which have consequently been yielding less since yesterday evening…
It makes me realise, incidentally, that the day the sales volume is changed, all the optimisation calculations and the input/output parameters for the flows will be disrupted and will require further investment to recalibrate. Given that profitability is measured over several years, it’s highly likely this will happen before the system becomes profitable.
Ultimately, Gauthier and OMStar are surely right: it’s better not to invest if the system isn’t set in stone, given that profitability is measured in years.
PS: All prices are algorithmic sequences; the amount of R&D is 10*8^n, and the price of workshops doubles at each level. Except for the quality gain – whether it’s 10, 80, 640 or 5,120 vials – a paltry +5 per cent in quality each time. I’m really looking forward to gaining 5 per cent with 40,960 vials for the final level.

33 hari yang laluThanks for sharing, Brewer.
Given that the sales take place very early in the morning, does that mean we just need to adjust the instructions after our matches so that our players are at their peak NG by the time the sale starts?
Pesan ini telah diterjemahkan. (FR) Pesan asli
brewen |
33 hari yang laluNo, because sales per day depend on followers, which haven’t yet been updated. However, when the followers were first set up, NG accounted for a very large proportion of them. So if players have a playstyle or strategy that reduces NG, the number of followers is underestimated. This is already the case for many players. There’s nothing that can be done except to reset their NG to the maximum should the follower counts ever be updated in the future, but this doesn’t happen at 1 am during sales at present.
