Hello everyone,
I really wonder about the point of scheduling league matches at 4pm, in the middle of the afternoon! This inevitably creates an inequity in the championship, especially with those who play at 8pm.
In my case, which should not be taken as a general rule but is certainly not an exception either, I work (with fairly standard working hours), so I can't get online. I'm up against players who will be online from the 1st to the last minute. The result (particularly in D1) is guaranteed defeat!
We could look at the problem the other way round and say that those who work at 8pm are also penalised if there is a match at 8pm, but statistically there are more players watching their matches at 8pm than at 4pm, aren't there?
Why not have all the matches at the same time?
We're talking about French leagues here, so there's no need to worry about time differences or anything else.
I'm a young VF player (1 and a half years) and I imagine that this subject has already been addressed in the past, but clearly this is a flagrant inequity that could be greatly avoided.

Give a solution?

Personally, I work at 8pm, so how can I keep up with my matches other than at 4pm?

We'll never be able to satisfy everyone
Personally, I'd rather play in the morning at 9am.
And in the evening it's not for me because I have a family and I'd rather be with them than manage a match at 8pm and lose an hour and a half of my life ...
And I work every weekend, so matches at the weekend don't suit me.
All that to say that it's complicated for others, they have no choice.

That's exactly what I said in my message, but statistically there are far more of us out of work at 8pm than the other way round.

I was rather counting on an admin to give me one. I don't have any power over the game.

No one will agree on the hours, because some people work evenings, others work mornings, others (like me) don't, and some are in a foreign country with a different time zone.
So you have to deal with it

The majority of matches are played in the late afternoon and evening; matches at 4.30pm are as rare as those who work in the evening (or prioritise their family life, like junior).
So it's easy to see why Aymeric has set this up so that there's something for everyone at some point.

I know that's not going to be appreciated by everyone, but that's the reality of things:
There's the VF Store... and VIP mode...
And maybe that's exactly what it's all about...

Some people don't want to spend money, and that's fair enough.
But this is THE solution. And probably deliberately so... 😬

After that it can cost 2 euros with the 7-day season ticket taken out at the end of the season, so it's clearly not the end of the world.
I didn't take it this season, but for next season, I'll be back to playing my opponents at midday during my break at work, because matches at 4-5pm like I've got this season, it's unmanageable.
