As promised in a private message, I want to be the first to congratulate Lecastor on his Champions League victory!
He put in a solid performance in the final. It held up, and the penalty shoot-out decided the outcome.

So he’s the champion – congratulations to him!

It was an enjoyable Champions League tournament, in any case. Admittedly, I fell at the penalty shoot-out stage in the final, but it was fun to play, and well done once again to the winner, who deserves all the praise he’s getting right now!

Thanks a lot. Thanks, Magpie, for your sportsmanlike messages before and after the match. I realise that the Champions League is like a game of dice where you have to win 3, 4 or 5 rolls. I’ve waited 11 years to win it back, so I know what it’s like – especially to suffer a string of defeats on penalties. One day, it’ll be your turn. I know it; you’ve got an incredible team. Better than mine. Especially when playing away from home.

Ça aurait été dommage qu'une équipe LV ne remporte pas le titre avec 3 équipes en demie finale.
Comme on pouvait le prévoir la finale se termine par un 0-0 car c'est très compliqué de marquer des buts à l'une ou à l'autre des 2 équipes.
En tout cas bravo pour ce second titre.

Tu as toujours été pour moi l'un des meilleurs tacticien de VF et je suis ravi de te voir gagner cette LDC depuis ta dernière victoire il y a 11 ans. Un grand coach, une victoire méritée pour ta constance et ton talent.
