What level of team do you need to be competitive in the game?

To be in contention for promotion to D3-D4, you’ll need 750 to 800 points at the start of the match (NG 70–75) if there aren’t any big clubs newly promoted to the league; otherwise, you’ll have to sit this one out and wait for better days.
In D2, you’ll need to aim for 850 to 900 points to be in the running for the top spots, but 800 may be enough to secure a 3rd or 4th place finish, depending on the opposition.
In Division 1, to challenge for the title, you need not only a good team but also a distinct playing style. Nevertheless, in terms of intrinsic value, you need a team with a statistical rating of over 950 points at the start of the match to be competitive; in some Division 1 leagues, 1,000 points is the minimum.

Tu peux peut être essayer de regarder les enchères à l'occasion. Il peut y avoir de bonnes affaires à faire pour des joueurs avec des notes raisonnables.
