It depends, the ones in the store normally don't, the others do. I bought one from a returning player, Samuel Eto'o, and it was possible to convert it into staff.

I have players from the Store on staff, but they had stayed in my squad for more than 5 or 6 seasons ... In view of the answers given, things may have changed in the meantime ... Maybe wait for confirmation from a member of the admin team.

You had him at the club for how long? do you remember? (yes, a player with a star next to his name for a special player).
