I promoted a keeper two days ago without having another one in my training counter, I thought the game would automatically recruit one in that position to fill that position.
But I've just seen that the ATC in my centre has been repositioned as a keeper.

Is this something we've seen before?
Do you know how the player repositioned as goalkeeper is determined in such a case? Smallest potential or random?

Yes, it's already happened to me with a dfd that was repositioned as a DFC.

I've got a little theory about that
Because usually the game takes a free player to fill the vacancy (normally).
However, if the cdf is full (which could also be the case if you include detection contracts), the game can no longer recruit a free agent to fill the vacancy, so the only solution is to reposition a young player who is already in the cdf.

Hors si le cdf est au complet (ça peut être aussi en comptant les contrats de détection), le jeu ne peut plus recruter de libre pour combler et du coup la seule solution est de repositionner un jeune déjà présent dans le cdf

I have twelve players in my CDF and three players in the scouting programme, so I would still have a place available for recruiting a free junior.

Maybe it's also due to the lack of free space, but if you put in a striker, you'd have 3 strikers on the pitch?

Reverse bug: For the third time this season, the game has given me a free youngster in my cdf without me requesting it or needing it (I easily position an eleven by respecting the number of players per line).
