It’s currently at 8.8M

You can keep track of it by going to your players; there’s a little hammer icon there – click on it to see the current bid

You need to click on the ‘Price’ tab on the auction page and select ‘Price’ to remove the filter.

This is because the auctions only display players whose sale prices are lower than the amount of money available in the manager’s bank account.
