18h agoIt all depends on your opponent and their tactics; you have to adapt to each opponent.

18h agoIf you want to play a very attacking game, you could try fielding five forwards! Two forwards, one on each wing and one centre-forward.

17h agoIn my opinion, a 4-4-2 or a 3-5-2 with a defensive midfielder offers the best balance between defence, possession and attack, but it really depends on the style you want to develop, the gap in ability between you and your opponent, and their strategy. You can also tailor your tactics to different playing styles (and therefore the right players) to try and address any weaknesses in your approach.
If there’s a ‘meta’, I’d be curious to know what it is too.
